Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada by her character in the film Bo. Silk was made in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk both were scholars. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She's the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories were of going to rehearsals for plays and watching her mom perform. Silk was featured in many commercials while she was a young child. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two early theater productions including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk made the move to Toronto to pursue her acting profession in November 1999. She then, over the decade that followed, she relocated to Los Angeles California. She met her new spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an acting training in Los Angeles in 2007. They got engaged in 2009, and then married at a civil ceremony that took place in December. The couple got married in Fredericton on April 10, the couple renewed their vows following her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her first child Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of May of 2016. Silk was also nominated in 2009 for Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. In 2009 she was cast as the main character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant while filming the finale of the third season. Silk announced her pregnancy to the fans in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on 6 January 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20, 2013 to announce that she was ready to return to working. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production for the fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the same-sex couple on Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples ever. E! Magazine declared that they were the top TV Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk's growth has brought a large online audience on social media.
